"If Safety is the GOAL,
then Education is the Key"

Types of Training Courses Offered Through Project safTE

Eddie Eagle GunSafe ® Program
The most widely used and nationally recognized firearms safety course for preschool and elementary aged school children. This course teaches children the utmost basics: If you see a gun, STOP, Don’t Touch, Leave the Area and Tell an Adult!

Home Firearm Safety Program
This course is designed to teach individuals the very basics of firearms safety. It covers general firearms knowledge, how to safely unload or load a firearm, as well as safe storage, transportation procedures and other Massachusetts laws.

College Firearm Safety & Education Day (FSED)
These day long events are designed specifically for college aged groups that are interested in gaining first hand experience with firearms. The day typically starts with a classroom session that covers safety, Massachusetts’ laws and myths versus facts. The event also includes students taking part in live fire training, such as shotgun, handgun, and rifle.

Students hold up their targets at the end of a fun and educational FSED.

Project saf•TE also runs FSEDs designed for teachers, legislators, government administrators, corporate staff, and for the general public.

Basic Pistol Course
This course is designed to take the novice handgun shooter to the next level, using both classroom and live fire exercises.

Women On Target ™
These events are designed specifically for women. Using experienced women trainers and coaches, this full day event introduces women of all ages to the shooting sports in a friendly, relaxed and noncompetitive atmosphere.

Youth Firearms Training
Project saf•TE offers a variety of training courses that are individually designed for the specific needs of the students. With access to many different instructor experience levels, Project saf•TE can provide your youth shooter with instruction from basic principles to the competitive shooter’s medal podium.

Defensive Firearm Courses
Project saf•TE also offers courses taught by experienced instructors for those that are interested in learning how to use different firearms for self defense, as well as the possible legal ramifications of using a firearm for defense, criminal avoidance, cover and concealment.

Corporate Field Days or FSEDs
Many companies are now offering their employees educational and recreational activities outside of their typical work environment. Our corporate events are designed to provide a workforce (small or large) with an opportunity to spend the day outdoors while learning and participating in some of our more exciting shooting sports.
